| Report: | A very warm match against our local rivals Limpsfield. Luckily our new heaters were out of action otherwise we would still be playing.
Rob was too quick for Nick at 1st string, but while Will won three zip against James it was touch and go and a fine match. The runner beat the shot player.
Hamish beat Rob at 3 but only after a long interlude while Rob tried to confuse the marker. Twas a valiant effort but at least it gave Rob a breather for 5 minutes, which we suspect was the objective all the time.
John beat Danno in 5 so one would expect it was a close and exiting match. Wrong. If there has ever been a more boring squash match at Warlingham it must have been way back last century in the days of wooden rackets.
Good fun all round but very hot, for squash. |
